This is personal to me.  My father, a surgeon, was 84 when he tripped and fell over a rug surrounded by family.  The very next day he received a new hip that proceed to fail three times with repeated associated falls in poorly staffed skilled nursing facilities.  He passed away two months after the initial fall with close to $500k in net paid medical bills.  The process was riddled with emotional turmoil, uncoordinated and unnecessary care.  All completely avoidable. 

Thrively is a technology enable service that helps seniors safely stay in their homes.  The company will initially support fall prevention for frail elderly populations that are both eligible for Medicare and Medicaid.  Thrively isfree to the member, reimbursed under the LTSS/HCBS 1915 waiver program, and generate considerable hospital admission, rehab, and skilled nursing savings.  At risk seniors will materially benefit from home modifications, respite care, remote monitoring and overall wellbeing.
